1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (carquest.online), contacting us via WhatsApp, or using any of our taxi and transportation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Car Quest Private Limited ("Car Quest", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in India.
2. About Car Quest
Car Quest Private Limited is a taxi service aggregator and coordinator. We operate a verified network of certified, commercially licensed driver partners across India. Car Quest facilitates bookings, coordinates driver assignments, and assumes full responsibility for the quality and safety of every trip.
3. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings are made via WhatsApp (+91 98935 11330) or telephone.
- A booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation from Car Quest via WhatsApp or SMS.
- Customers must provide accurate pickup location, destination, date, time, and contact details at the time of booking.
- Car Quest reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.
- Advance bookings are recommended for airport transfers and outstation journeys.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All fares are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to 18% GST as per government regulations.
- The base rate starts at ₹30 per kilometre for point-to-point rides and ₹1,000 per hour for hourly rentals.
- Toll charges, parking fees, and state taxes are charged at actuals and are the customer's responsibility.
- Final fare is confirmed at the time of booking based on distance, vehicle type, and route.
- Payment may be made in cash, UPI, bank transfer, or other accepted methods as communicated at booking.
- Car Quest does not charge any hidden fees beyond the confirmed fare and applicable taxes.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund of any advance payment.
- Cancellations made between 12 and 24 hours before pickup may attract a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the confirmed fare.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before pickup may attract a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the confirmed fare.
- No-shows (customer not present at the pickup location at the confirmed time) may result in forfeiture of any advance payment.
- Car Quest reserves the right to cancel bookings in cases of force majeure, unavailability of drivers, or safety concerns, with a full refund to the customer.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must be ready at the designated pickup location at the confirmed time.
- Customers are responsible for the safety of their luggage and personal belongings during the journey.
- Customers must treat drivers with respect. Abusive or threatening behaviour may result in termination of the trip without refund.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and carrying prohibited items are strictly not permitted in our vehicles.
- Customers are liable for any damage caused to the vehicle due to their negligence or misconduct.
7. Limitation of Liability
Car Quest's liability in connection with any booking is limited to the fare paid for that specific trip. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from delays, route changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic conditions, weather events, or road closures.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
9. Amendments
Car Quest reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
